User Impact: Admins may notice that Microsoft 365 reports aren’t accurate starting from January 10, 2020.
More info: The affected reports are as follows:
Exchange: Email Activity, Email app, Mailbox usage
Microsoft Teams: Device usage, User activity
Microsoft 365: Activations, Active users
OneDrive for Business: Activity, Usage
SharePoint Online: Activity, Site usage
Skype for Business: Activity, Conference organizer activity, Conference participant activity, Device usage, Peer-to-peer activity
Yammer: Activity, Device usage, Groups activity
Reports starting from January 16, 2020 onwards aren’t impacted by this issue.
Current status: We’re continuing to build a script to reset the "watermark" on all sync instances in Azure Active Directory (AAD). Once we’ve completed building and have validated the script will reset the "watermark", we’ll deploy it to all impacted infrastructure to re-sync the affected reports.
Scope of impact: This issue may potentially affect any of your admins attempting to view specific reports from the impacted services.

Root cause: A recent configuration change in Azure Active Directory (AAD) resulted in a data sync issue.
